Gutian County has a population of 80,000. The residence medical institution and factories discharge a great amount of domestic sewage and waste water, especially those untreated let out directly into Caoyang Stream and city moats, flowing into Gutian River, resulting in severe pollution and a great impact on living environment and safety of drinking water in the city zone, even in Fuzhou and the lower reaches of Minjiang. To improve the city sanitation and protect the city moats, Gutian River and water enviroment of Minjiang River and assure the sustainable development of Guitan’ Economy, it is necessary to build a sewage treatment plant of Gutian County and auxiliary pipes net project of a sewage collecting network.
Construction Contents & Scale: It is planned to construct by stages and designed to treat 10,000 m³/ d on the first stage, 40,000 m³/ d on the medium stage, and 40,000 m³/ d on the long-term stage. The major construction contains a sewage treatment plant, systemic sets of technology for sewage treatment, pipe system of sewage collection and so forth. |
