Construction Reason & Condition: The Cuiping Lake of Gutian County is a provincial scenic spots. Scenery Area of Cuiping Lake belongs to the sub-tropical climate, enjoying wavy lake, fresh air, and all the year around the climate like spring. 36 islands stand erect opposite the water, with the waters covering 37.1 km², known as “ No 1 Lake in Fujian”. Along the Lake, a provincial cultural relic, the Ancestral Temple of Chen Jinggu, who has been reputed as “the Shuntian Goddess” at home and abroad. The believers of Chen Jinggu can be found in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Zhejiang, Fujian and so forth. Chen’s stories have greatly influenced the customs of dozens of generations of people who speak Fuzhou dialect. Demonstration of the culture of Chen Jinggu is the main body of attraction and it remains great marketing potentialities.
